You're training. You're eating your protein. You're getting your steps. But you're sleeping five hours a night and wondering why you feel exhausted....
Most healthy adults need seven to nine hours. And being in bed isn't the same as sleeping. Bed at 10, up at 6 doesn't mean eight hours. You still have to fall asleep, and you wake up during the night.
For seven days, track when you actually fall asleep and when you wake up. Then get your average. Use something like an AURA RING for DATA.
If it's under seven hours, don't try to add two. Add 30 minutes. If you fall asleep at midnight, aim for 11:30. Keep your wake time about the same.
Hold that for a week and see how you feel. Then build from there.
Give it a week and see if the afternoon crash, the extra coffee, and the dragging workouts start to go away.
