Here's How to Get More Steps Without Making It a Whole Thing!
"I don't have an hour to walk every day."
You don't need one. The easiest way to move more isn't scheduling another workout. It's making your normal day slightly more active. Start With What You're Already Doing. Don't aim for 10,000 steps out of nowhere.
Check your phone. Look at your average steps over the last week. If you're sitting around 4,000, aim for 5,000. Just add an extra 1,000 steps that are spread across your whole day.

Park farther out.
Take the stairs.
Walk while you're on a call.
Get up from your desk once an hour.
Take a 10-minute walk after breakfast.
Take a 10-minute walk after lunch.
Another one after dinner.
Two or three short walks are easier to fit in than one long one. You don't need a free 30-minute block — you need a few free 10-minute ones.
Five minutes counts. Ten minutes counts. Walking around the grocery store counts. It all adds to your day.
Start small. Let it build. Walking stops being a workout you have to force in — it just becomes part of the day.
